I needed a whole house generator for health reasons. Desmone and his helper went WAY above and beyond! My dog got loose and ran out the door and they had to chase him down because I was hooked up to my home concentrator!!! They were easy to work with and soooo nice. Everything went smoothly after the caught the dog! I recommend Perkins to anyone who needs a generator. Everyone I have dealt with have been so nice and patient!!!

Install of a 26 kw generator. Aaron and his team did an excellent job. They were courteous and a great group of workers. I am pleased with the install and the answers Aaron gave to my questions. Corey installed the gas line for the generator. His work is excellent and he saw a potential problem with the existing line and corrected the situation. I am well satisfied with all that was done by Perkins generator. I would highly recommend their company.

Great company and great people

Perkins installed the generator at our home and is the only firm I trust to maintain it. I just had them check our unit following a nearby lightning strike. Their tech - James - was terffic. On-time, courtesous, knowledgable. Explained everything to me and made recommendations on how to extend the life of our unit. Fortunately, we did not have major damage - just needed a system reset - but Perkins / James gave me the peace of mind that our generator is ready to go when we lose power. I highly recommend the team at Perkins as your full-service generator contractor.

Fast. Efficient. Reasonable cost.

We had Perkins install our residential standby generator 5 years ago, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a standby generator.

The team at Perkins took care of the entire process, which included the actual installation as well as getting our gas meter upgraded to a larger capacity, and Sandy Springs permitting. The installation crew did a great job. We had been told to expect some drywall removal/repair as part of the new gas line installation, but the guys put in the extra time to route the line without damaging the drywall. The generator has been working flawlessly since then, and we do have the Perkins maintenance plan

While getting quotes for the generator, we were told by another company not to attempt to get permits for the installation (🤦), because they couldn't figure out how to install the transfer switch near our electrical service that would be up to code. The Perkins team did the right thing, and their quote price was less as well!

Very dependable and responsive. We've been customers for approximately 15 years. At first it was just for service, since our original dealer had gone belly up. Later it included sales when we upgraded our Generac to a larger and more robust model. We had misjudged our needs on our original purchase. We've never had a reason to doubt the move to Perkins.

The installation crew—Corey, Aaron, Desmond, Marcius, and David—were knowledgeable, professional, and extremely thorough. They treated our home as if it were their own, took the time to answer all of our questions, and made sure everything was done right. They also cleaned up completely after the job was finished. Brian, our salesman, was equally helpful and made the entire process smooth from start to finish.

The Generac unit has been working perfectly. We already had the opportunity to see it in action when the electric company replaced a transformer near the street, leaving us without power for about 40 minutes. The generator kicked in within about 20 seconds of the outage—so quickly that none of our clocks even needed to be reset.

I can’t say enough good things about the service from Perkins. Generator was out and I got them out the next morning and they came back to replace the part that afternoon. Tasha in scheduling was a pleasure and she really took care of me. I know that 1 day service doesn’t happen all the time but the fact that they figured out the best way to serve the customers shows that they really care.

Recently, for the 1st time in 6 years we actually had a problem that needed repair. Perkins sent someone out within just a few days of my call. The gentleman that came to our house was super professional and friendly. He tested everything and installed a new starter because the original had worn out.

As always, he did great work at a reasonable price. They’re never trying to increase your bill and always seeking to give you great value. They are a uniquely pleasant and great company to work with!

Been a Perkins Electric customer since 2005. I bought a 25K whole house generator from them and have had them maintain it for all these years. Only once was a battery cable left loose after servicing causing it not to start. After 21 years, I can excuse that one ‘hiccup’….

Thank you guys so much Mr.Thomas the service manager on EMS oncall took care of my elderly neighbor very well , he was respectful, patient as can be with someone whose elderly and very much so deaf by all means of the word , he came out on a holiday, showed up at 9:45pm and did everything he could to give my granddad a peace of mind so he could sleep without being worried about his expensive generator, guy did a kickzza job and I hope someone see's this and give him some extra incentive cause he deserves it .

Thomas repaired my Generac Generator on 3.25.26. It was having some issues starting. Thomas quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. He explained in detail why it wasn't starting and what he had done to repair it. It was a pleasure meeting Thomas today. I feel relieved that my Generator was repaired. Did a great job as always. My only beef is the appts are automatically scheduled and sometimes makes it difficult to make sure they have entry to property if not in town. Other than that I would highly recommend them.

We just purchased a propane fueled Generac generator from Perkins Generator Store and am extremely satisfied with the whole operation, from sales to install. There was an issue, in my mind, about placement. One must be mindful about the exhaust from the unit but this was not covered by the salesperson and I didn't think to ask. It can't be under eaves, in front of crawlspace vents, or within five feet of any opening into the house (windows, dryer vents, etc.) Definitely not a deal breaker. The crew was great and had the total install done in about four hours. And they cleaned up after themselves! Tommy Bellflower came by this morning to check for a propane leak I thought I smelled. He was there about 30 minutes after I called. Thankfully everything checked out ok. Anyone asks, I will highly recommend Perkins!

Jaylon is a terrific technician. Not only did he do the routine check, but he alerted us to two problem areas in our generator which he showed us. These will be corrected before there is a failure. Thank you Jaylon!

We had our whole-house Generac generator installed by Perkins Generator Services in December 2025, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.

The installation crew—Corey, Aaron, Desmond, Marcius, and David—were knowledgeable, professional, and extremely thorough. They treated our home as if it were their own, took the time to answer all of our questions, and made sure everything was done right. They also cleaned up completely after the job was finished. Brian, our salesman, was equally helpful and made the entire process smooth from start to finish.

The Generac unit has been working perfectly. We already had the opportunity to see it in action when the electric company replaced a transformer near the street, leaving us without power for about 40 minutes. The generator kicked in within about 20 seconds of the outage—so quickly that none of our clocks even needed to be reset.
