Our founder, Chuck Perkins, played a pivotal role in advancing the generator industry. JOSH ALEXANDER
Josh brings over 14 years of experience in the generator industry and holds the highest technical certifications at Perkins Generator Store. His passion for fixing things began in childhood, and he discovered his talent for generators nearly 15 years ago when he started his career with us.
As a former United States Marine, Josh exemplifies leadership and discipline, embodying the principle of “leading by example” in all he does.
A proud Georgia native (Go Dawgs!), Josh enjoys riding his Harley, playing the drums, and spending time with his wife, two children, and their beloved Johnson Bulldog, Sampson.
CHUCK PERKINS
Chuck began his journey in the generator industry as a Licensed Electrical Contractor, installing his first generator in the early 1990s. Since then, he has remained dedicated to providing reliable emergency backup power solutions to the Greater Atlanta area. Drawing on his customer service background with Eastern Airlines, Chuck has instilled a company-wide commitment to delivering exceptional service in every interaction, from communication to planning and implementation.
Outside of work, Chuck enjoys life on his family farm with his wife, Cindy. He is a proud father to three wonderful daughters and a grandfather to two energetic grandchildren. His hobbies include shooting sporting clays, gardening, bass fishing, and pheasant hunting, all of which reflect his love for the outdoors and time spent with family.
CODY THOMPSON
Cody joined Perkins Generator Store in 2014 as a factory-trained technician in the Service Department. In 2016, he transitioned to the Installation Department, where he quickly excelled. In 2022, Cody became a Licensed Electrical Contractor in Georgia, further solidifying his expertise. His in-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code ensures our customers receive the safest, most efficient, and cleanest installations in the industry.
In his free time, Cody enjoys refinishing home aquarium tanks, watching sports, and spending time outdoors. A passionate musician, he also plays bass in his church’s band on weekends, combining his love for music with his commitment to community.
